The LIFE MareNatura project received co-funding from the Green Fund for the year 2024, under the “European Programme LIFE 2024”, totaling €55.000. This amount was distributed among seven of its beneficiares: €9.000 for HCMR, €7.000 for the University of the Aegean, €7.000 for NOA, €8.000 for MOm, €8.000 for ARCHELON, €8.000 for HOS, and €8.000 for MEDASSET).
The overall budget of the LIFE MareNatura project totals €10.707.187,54. The European Commission, through CINEA, is co-funding the project at a rate of 75% (i.e. €8.030.390,67), while the Green Fund has provided a total of €55,000 in co-financing to date.
The co-funding from the Green Fund increases the external financial resources available to the beneficiaries, enabling them to undertake additional actions to achieve the project’s objectives.
The Green Fund is a Greek public organization, operating under the Ministry of Environment and Energy, with the mission of fostering development through environmental protection.
