The LIFE MareNatura documentary, “LIFE MareNatura – Protecting Marine Life in a Changing World”, has received the Best Feature Runner Up distinction at the S.O.F.A Film Festival 2026 (Animals, Wildlife, Environment, Conservation).
Produced by MEDASSET and directed by Roberto Lo Monaco, the documentary highlights the scientific research, collaborative efforts and conservation activities undertaken through the LIFE MareNatura project to protect marine biodiversity in the Mediterranean.
This recognition marks an important milestone in the film’s ongoing international festival journey. The documentary is expected to become freely available to the public by the end of November 2026.
