The LIFE MareNatura project received co-funding from the Green Fund for the year 2024, under the “European Programme LIFE 2024”, totaling \u20ac55.000. This amount was distributed among seven of its beneficiares: \u20ac9.000 for HCMR, \u20ac7.000 for the University of the Aegean,\u00a0 \u20ac7.000 for NOA, \u20ac8.000 for MOm, \u20ac8.000 for ARCHELON, \u20ac8.000 for HOS, and\u00a0 \u20ac8.000 for MEDASSET).<\/p>\n
The overall budget of the LIFE MareNatura project totals\u00a0 \u20ac10.707.187,54. The European Commission, through CINEA, is co-funding the project at a rate of 75% (i.e. \u20ac8.030.390,67), while the Green Fund has provided a total of \u20ac55,000 in co-financing to date.<\/p>\n
The co-funding from the Green Fund increases the external financial resources available to the beneficiaries, enabling them to undertake additional actions to achieve the project’s objectives.<\/p>\n
